PR Volt helped us modernize and streamline our outbound PR, driving press coverage way more efficiently than traditional PR. The results speak for themselves!
Situation
Voyage Foods had been working with a marketing agency before teaming up with PR Volt, but didn’t feel like they were in a spot to gain substantial PR or secure big stories. They wanted to focus on driving brand awareness with their customer base as well as potential investors. Social proof and and solid SEO presence were strategies they wanted to use to accomplish their marketing goals. Voyage Foods decided to partner with PR Volt because of their ability to garner support from top media outlets and designing marketing strategies that are uniquely tailored for each company they work with.
Program & Strategy
The marketing strategy PRVolt developed for Voyage Foods consisted of three components.
The first part was keyword and competitive monitoring to target journalists who were likely to generate coverage on their products. The second part was positioning the CEO and lead food scientist as thought leaders within trade publications to establish credibility and trust. The last part was driving brand awareness with consumers through food/mommy bloggers that focused on the benefits of their foods for people with food allergies.
At the time of reaching out to media outlets, none of the product line had been released in market. This proved to be a challenge in getting media buy-in since their audiences couldn’t buy the products yet. However, with the innovative nature of the products and targeting the right media partners, PRVolt garnered plenty of media interest in the Voyage Foods product line.
